Paris Saint-Germain are considering a swoop for AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez in the next transfer window, according to L’Equipe.

Before arriving to Milan only last summer, Theo spent two years on the books at Real Madrid, but he spent his second season there on loan at Real Sociedad. For the Rossoneri, he has so far scored six goals and assisted further three in 25 appearances in all competitions from his position as a left-back.  His contract doesn’t expire before 2024, which would put Milan in a strong negotiating position should PSG decide to step up their interest.

On the other hand, the contract of Layvin Kurzawa with PSG expires this summer, while that of Juan Bernat is set to enter its final 12 months. It seems the danger of suddenly being left without options on the left defensive flank has been registered at the Parc des Princes, though the report suggest that a complete defensive overhaul may be on the horizon for the Ligue 1 champions.
