According to a recent report from Le Parisien, Arsene Wenger is considered to be one of the primary targets for French club Lyon as they go in search of a new manager. The Ligue 1 side are attempting to replace the outgoing Sylvinho who was sacked following a poor start to the campaign. Wenger is one of the first names that they’re going to be looking out for alongside Laurent Blanc, as he looks into the possibility of a return to management.

The Frenchman has been away from the touchline ever since he left his post at the Emirates with Arsenal following more than two decades with the club.

Now, the big question is whether or not he even wants to step back into the world of football in this capacity.

If he doesn’t, then there certainly seems to be a future for him in a different role – such as director of football or perhaps just as a pundit.
