Donyell Malen has been the subject of many football stories in recent weeks, as he started the new season in a brilliant fashion. PSV Eindhoven striker, who previously had a spell with Arsenal’s youth team, has been terrorizing Eredivisie goalkeepers and now he has been linked with European champions.

According to several sources, Liverpool are reportedly interested in the Dutch international who just turned 20 in January. Malen scored 10 goals in 13 games for PSV this season, including the famous five goals in a single game against Vitesse. He also scored for the Dutch side in the Europa League.

Liverpool could be looking to bring in a younger forward with quality, in order to prepare him to first become a cover for first-choice Roberto Firmino, but also to have a talented striker who can offer different things to the Brazilian. Malen already played in England, as he previously featured for Arsenal at the youth level from 2015 to 2017, scoring 27 goals in 67 games.
